Intersecting Lines- two lines that meet at one point
1.Why is it important that these lines intersect?
It is important because when lines intersect, they form angles. Angles are important because they give you something to measure and allow you to see the relationship between X and Y axis. Also, in real world objects if lines never intersected then everything would be parallel and things would never meet.
